March 25: Delays In Production Expected
With an increase in ‘stay-at-home’ and ‘shelter-at-home’ rules in place throughout the USA and around the world, Lulu’s print facilities are beginning to experience delays in production. We are continuing to print and ship books, but we do expect these COVID-19 countermeasures to impact our print and delivery times.
As of today, we are asking that you allow between 5 and 10 additional days for printing and shipping. Please continue to monitor your carrier’s message about shipping restrictions in your region (links found below).
The Lulu support team remains available to answer specific questions relating to your orders during our regular business hours.
March 20: Updates From Lulu’s Print Network
During this difficult time, Lulu is doing everything we can to ensure you can still get the books you need while maintaining the health and safety of our staff and customers. Today we have a few updates to help keep you informed.
First, we strongly encourage everyone to follow the recommended guidelines provided by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. To that end, the majority of Lulu staff are working from home, but we are still available to help you.
Further, we are working hard to ensure you continue experiencing the level of service and quality that you have come to expect from Lulu. We can report that, as of March 20th, there have been only a few minor disruptions to our supply chains or shipping services, and we expect most orders to arrive on time or with minimal delays. Please check the status of your area with your chosen carrier before placing your order to ensure successful delivery.
